This privacy notice describes data processing when using FixNavi.

2. Technical delivery and server logs

Technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested page, browser and operating system is processed for secure delivery based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Repair requests and photo uploads

We store appliance details, problem description, language, selected region and the generated result. Photos are held privately, processed for analysis and deleted immediately afterwards, no later than 24 hours. Private results normally expire after 90 days.

4. AI processing by OpenAI

Appliance details, problem description and, where provided, the rating-plate photo are sent to the OpenAI API to generate the requested analysis. Do not enter or upload unnecessary personal data.

5. Public guides

Eligible results may be stored as public guides only after anonymization and without photos, email addresses or serial numbers. Uncertain or safety-critical results are not published automatically.

6. Advertising and consent management

Google AdSense, including Rewarded Ads or Offerwall, may be used for financing. Non-essential advertising and storage access only occurs after any required consent through a certified consent-management platform.

7. Email delivery

If you choose optional email delivery, the address is used only to send the requested result link and is not stored for newsletters or advertising.

8. Your rights

Subject to legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, plus the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
